Otto looked so put together during the awarding. He wasn’t in a formal attire like the others. He opted to come wearing urban clothes instead. He has a bit of a rebellious streak in him and the no formal attire was just a manifestation of his desire to not conform.

I am actually like that. I hate conforming. Let’s say everyone is raving about a really good song. I don’t like it. It will take time before the song grows on me. I have always been like that. I know Otto’s the same.

I need to reduce belly fat. I tried to pedicure myself but because of my belly, I found it hard to do so. If I squeeze my belly too tight, I find it hard to breathe. So I might as well have someone pedicure me.

In the past, my belly wasn’t this big. Even if I was overweight, my belly never became a problem. But when I started working at home, just sitting in front of the computer for 14-16 hours daily and not working out, my belly fat expanded. I look like a 6-month pregnant woman!

Time to reduce the belly fat!

My cousin Jean recently became a mother. When we saw each other last weekend, she told me that it’s true what others say. When you become a mom, you learn to sacrifice your needs and wants for your kid. And you also learn to be good with your finances.

I saw how her husband appreciates everything she does for the family. I really wish them the best in their married life.

My sisters and I were laughing at a reality show we were watching. It featured a man looking to score two women he wanted since high school. He did different antics and what-nots just so the women would pay attention and possibly become attracted to him. To no avail.

I wonder where the winners and runners-up of America’s Next Top Model are right now. I’ve seen a couple of them at the runway in almost every Project Runway’s season finale. Imagine a man or woman with a pretty face drawing a huge crowd because of it. But this man or woman has a voice slightly better than a frog’s. And he or she is belting a tune!

Either you love him or hate him. That’s Mike Enriquez for you. His intense style of reporting can be annoying but for some people like me, it is entertaining. Imagine laughing while watching a serious news program. That’s what you’ll be doing while watching him.

Do you like him? I do! I didn’t use to but I was able to appreciate his style of reporting for a couple of years now.

Whenever I see makeovers, I feel the need to learn how to do it properly. You know, hair and make-up, and other salon services. So when I heard about the Regency Jacksonville Cosmetology School, I immediately told my sister about it. While I am interested in hair and make-up, my sister is interested in spa services. We’re both thinking of going into a spa business in the future, with probably salon on the side.

Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, the teleserye starring Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Coco Martin, Albert Martinez, Kris Aquino and Gabby Concepcion along with Jacklyn Jose and Gina Pareño, is ending tonight. It is a really good series. I believe it is one of the best of ABS-CBN. Fast-paced and well-developed, the story was really given the attention it deserves by the series writers.

I would like to commend the performances of Coco Martin, Jacklyn Jose, Gina Pareño and Albert Martinez. They gave justice to the roles they took on.

I am hoping that the teleserye that will replace it by Monday will be as interesting as the one that will end tonight.

An interior designer featured in a local magazine show used tv stands as side tables in the living room of the house featured in the episode I was able to catch. You wouldn’t notice that the side tables were tv stands if it weren’t pointed out in the show. The designer was really creative! She used different every day items around the house to function differently.

I wish I am as creative as her. Our house is a mess. There are four of us girls in the family but we’re not really good in arranging home furniture. We are also not very much that well-organized all the time. If only one of us has the creative mind like that of the designer featured in the show…

Guys don’t take notice of her when she’s wearing gowns and dresses. But when she started wearing breeches, that’s when they’re taking a second, third and fourth looks. They started liking her a lot. And it’s beside the fact that she’s good in what she does: horse riding!

I do believe that some women takes time to bloom. There are some who attain their best looks when they reach their 30’s or 40’s. That’s when also men take notice of them. So for women out there, don’t lose hope. You may just be a late bloomer like someone I know.

What evening news program do you watch? Is it TV Patrol World or 24 Oras or other local news program? In our house we are loyal to TV Patrol World. I like the trio of Julius Babao, Karen Davila and Ted Failon. I didn’t use to like Karen but when I started watching her in special coverages of ABS-CBN, I realized that she’s really a good news anchor.

We sometimes switch between ABS-CBN and GMA-7. But whenever I get to see Mel Tiangco, with her distracting and age inappropriate dresses and loud lipstick, I get irritated. I love Mike Enriquez but with seeing Mel alongside him is not worth it at all.
