Who would have thought that a weight loss pills review will be the catalyst for a severely overweight person to take the challenge of losing weight? Well, certainly not me! I have an extremely overweight friend. More than a hundred pounds overweight! But looking at her now, you wouldn’t believe what I just said. And all because she read a review that tells her the benefits of a diet pill that she took. With regular exercise, she was able to shed off her excess weight and she’s now an advocate of healthy living. I wish I can pull off the same thing she did.

Professionals
My brother is taking up Information Technology. We were talking this weekend about his love for software development. I think that’s the area that he’ll be getting into once he finishes college. He is already in second year college and I am really hoping that he finishes on time. He is the only one left studying in our family. All of us are now working and are professionals. Two are teachers and two are accountants. And when he graduates, there’ll be an IT expert in the family already!
Steadily increasing
Prices are steadily increasing these days. Oil prices, public transportation fares, prices of basic commodities… So it really amazes me how some people can still afford to go on grand vacations, buy luxury cars, spend on Ferrari parts. These are things I don’t think I’ll be able to afford in a long while. And considering the situation we are all in right now, the recession and all, I don’t think I will be spending so much even if I have the money to spend.
Me and jewelry
I have a love-hate relationship with jewelry. I get allergies from it if the jewelry is a fancy or those which they call costume jewelry. For some reason, I am allergic to it. That’s why I only wear jewelry on special occasions. The only thing you will see on me on a regular basis is my watch which my sister gave to me. Other than that, you will find me bare of the jewelries that most people wear.
One jewelry I would love to wear on a daily basis which I don’t have is a ring. I would love that very much.

New worry
I am surprised at the many new forms of cancer I am reading about. Or they might not be new but I’m the one new to it. Like mesothelioma. I didn’t know before that you can get cancer from asbestos. So many local houses has asbestos at home and it worries me that we might have it here as well.
When I read about this new form of cancer, I immediately told my dad about it so he can check with the contractor who built our two-storey house if there’s asbestos in the house. It’s really worrisome because my mom died of a rare form of kidney disease called Amyloidosis. And guess where she got it? From an old ammonium nitrate bodega/storage building that was their neighbor when she was a little girl. All along, she had that disease and it only manifested when she’s in her mid-40s. Imagine that.
So this cancer-inducing asbestos better be not in our home. I am having that checked asap.
Enough bluffing!
If I don’t know it, I will tell you about it. That’s been my policy for years now. It gets tiring, the way people pretend to know everything all the time. It gets old and I’m tired of getting tired with all of it. Get my drift?
Anyway, I was asked by a colleague if I want to apply for a great position in their company. The one holding it is retiring from his post after 27 years of service to the company. The position will be handling insurance lead generation and the compensation package is very handsome indeed! I told my colleague that I know a little of the said job and I might end up embarrassing myself if I would be asked to detail the job in front of the panelist who would be interviewing possible candidates. She told me that I could bluff my way through it if I want to.
Which I don’t want to do at all! I’m tired of these bluffing my way to everything. At the end of the day, I have to face the mirror and tell myself that I really know my stuff.
Sad

What happened to Michael Jackson is really tragic. Dead at 50. There were no signs that he’d die young. And he had three children all depending on him. He had a sold out concert tour to be staged this July in London. All 50 shows. Then it all happened. It shocked the whole world. His fans are still in mourning over the sudden loss of a music icon.
It’s just sad.
Old photos
My sister took down some old photos from our storage room. I saw some of my old photos wherein I was still slim. It’s like seeing my body with corsets on! I couldn’t believe how slim I was in college. I remember that daily, going to school, brisk walking was what I kept on doing. It did wonders to my body. But it’s really unsafe now to do it still. Places around the neighborhood became dangerous before sunrise and after sunset. In between, you cannot do brisk walking anymore because of the shops and the many parked cars in places where pedestrians should be walking on. Hay.
Surge of accidents
If you’ve been watching the evening news, you will notice the surge of motorcycle accidents in several parts of the country. It’s actually worrisome considering no one is safe from these accidents. Even those who are following the safety rules of motorcycle riding are not exempt. Good thing there are legal counsels like the San Jose motorcycle accident attorney that people involved in accidents can turn to.
I hope that the riders will take extra care, especially with these succession of accidents that we see.
Day after day
There’s a carinderia near our house. We always buy food there because it’s convenient when no one at home wants to cook. The food is delicious! I love the chicken fillet and the pancit bihon. The price is a bit high for a carinderia but then as long as the delivery is fast and the food is great, it’s okay.
The thing is, eating fast food grub all the time can make one fat. Aargh! Overweight me is getting additional pounds because of the grease that comes with the delicious food. Day after day, I can see myself needing Anoretix to lose even some of the weight I am gaining. Sigh.
But hey, as long as I’m happy, right? Right? Hahaha!
Electronics, my thing
Whenever we go to the mall, you will surely find us at some point in the electronics section. That’s because me, my dad and my brother are electronics freaks! I’d rather buy a gadget than a pair of shoes or clothes. Whenever we are in the electronics section, I always think that if I have more than enough money, I probably would buy half of the contents of the section. Hehehe
Grocery shopping
When I go grocery shopping, I now bring a calculator with me. It has become a necessity already because most of the time, I find myself over the budget while the items are being run against the barcode scanner. I have this weird habit of paying for everything I got, even if it is over my budget. I don’t take back some items to cut back on the costs. It’s just one of my quirks. So instead of putting myself on the spot at the cash register, I am now calculating everything while prowling the aisles of the grocery store.
Big hassle
I know most of my female friends are looking for the best diet pills in town. Being slightly overweight can be a big hassle for anyone. What more if you are a person who’s always on the go? Two of my female friends live a very active life. One of them even attends social functions at least once a week. Thus, looking and being fit is very important to her. Exercise alone could only do so much. That’s why she asked her doctor for a diet supplement she can take to achieve her ideal weight.
I wish I have the capacity to do so, too!
