I don’t know how I can truly earn from Adsense. I mean, I’ve been utilizing it for more than a year now and I still got $30 earnings from it. $70 more before I can withdraw my funds. And that would take moooore time before I can probably earn it.

The same with my other ppc accounts. I need to explore the ways on how I can maximize my earnings from these programs. But that would take time and I don’t know if I still have some to spare.

Lease income

Someone I know leases their property in the province to a telecoms company. Their property is being used as the location for a cell tower. They are earning a substantial amount from the lease agreement. Their property was just sitting idle when all of a sudden they were approached by a representative of the telecoms company. Now, the earnings they get out of the lease agreement is what they use for vacation funds. What a windfall!

Are you still looking forward to the newest installment in the Twilight Saga, New Moon? Are you still looking forward to seeing our beloved Robert Pattinson play the dreamy, Edward Cullen?

No to the first one, yes to the last.

I’ve seen the trailer of New Moon. And a couple of clips from it. If that’s the best they can show us, I don’t think the movie will hold more promise of a better script and even better acting from the whole cast. Did you see the scene in the woods where Edward said goodbye to Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart)? Oh my! She still can’t act!

But because I have a huge crush on R-Patz, I will still probably watch the movie, just to feast my eyes on that eye candy! Hehehe

As I sit here writing this entry, the life insurance quotes I am waiting for are pouring in. I am getting life insurance for myself. I have been without for the past three years now.

When you are employed, your compensation and benefits package comes with a life and healthcare insurance. I forgot that I am no longer working for a single company and have neglected it. I just got worried about not having one when the Influenza A(H1N1) virus started spreading around. I don’t want to be caught in limbo without anything to leave my love ones behind.

Cranky all the time

A friend of mine is cranky all the time. I talked to her yesterday afternoon and I noticed that she easily gets offended by little things. She seemed to be paranoid and pissed off over something over the phone. I asked her point blank if she’s mad at me and if I did something wrong. She was surprised that I asked because she’s not, according to her. She told me that this might be the effects of her strict diet program. One meal a day and lots of exercise. I told her that there are fat burner pills out there that she can use and instead of being cranky like that all the time, she better ask her doctor about the pills and be done with dieting in record time!

Jamie Oliver and family attended Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince's gala premiere

This is the first time I’ve seen Jamie Oliver‘s kids. They look so adorable! I am a big fan of Jamie’s cooking shows. I think I’ve seen glimpses of the kids in one of his shows but I’m not sure. I’ve seen his wife in his Great Italian Escape.

Anyway, such a beautiful family. I hope that Jamie does not have something in his closet like Gordon Ramsay who was recently confirmed to have a mistress.

Somewhat ignorant

There are so many new things coming out in the market that I am unable to keep up! Or maybe, I am the one who’s slow on picking up things. Might be the latter hehe

Anyway, so we went to the mall yesterday to buy a new rice cooker. The old one broke down and won’t get hot anymore. I saw these little jelly-like things being sold with fake plants and flowers. I didn’t know what it was until my sister took pity and told me that it is used with growing plants. Much like a foam. Didn’t know that! Then, there’s led taillights. I didn’t even know there’s such a thing until we went to the section where we will buy this oil to stop the creaking of the garage door. There’s just too many things I didn’t know about.

I guess not going out that much can make you a bit ignorant on some things hehe!

I don’t think I will be able to watch True Blood with anyone from the family. It is just too raunchy, to say the least. Imagine, the first scene alone has a woman rubbing a guy down there. Hahaha! I was shocked! No, I am not being prudent here. I just don’t know what to expect from the series. I am currently reading the first book in The Southern Vampire Mystery series by Charlaine Harris, the books from which True Blood is based on. The book is sexy but there was no first scene with a woman rubbing a man. Hahaha

My reaction was funny, I know. I am used to watching scenes like that. Back in college, out of curiosity, my friends and I would watch R movies once a month. Imagine how used I was to scenes more than just rubbing hehe

Anyway, I will continue watching but without anyone watching it with me.

The Proposal: A brief review

We were able to watch an advance screening of the movie, The Proposal. Oh my goodness! It was hilarious! I love Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock! They both acted superb in the movie. Betty White is a gem! No wonder the movie raked in the big amounts in the US.

In a nutshell, the movie is about Margaret (Bullock), an overbearing book editor who loves to terrorize everyone around her including her executive assistant cum secretary, Andrew (Reynolds). When she was about to be deported back to Canada for a rejected working visa renewal, she thought of pretending to be getting married to Andrew. She blackmailed him, telling him she will make him an editor if he goes with her plan. To quell the suspicions of the Immigration officer assigned to them, Margaret went with Andrew to his hometown in Alaska. And there things happened differently that made them see each other in a different light and made them fall in love with each other.

Ryan is sooo handsome! Mucho guapito! I love his expressions and how he looks like a pushover to Sandra’s dominant personality. I love that scene where they were both naked and their bodies slammed! Hahaha

Love the movie! I’m giving it two thumbs up! Watch it and laugh your heart out!
