My dad is not getting any younger. I am preparing for the decline in his health as what happens to most old people. My paternal side of the family has a history of heart ailments and, well, I believe I am being practical with preparing for any eventuality. I am not praying for it to happen. I am not being morbid. But we all go down that road, only in different ages.

I am completing every needed insurance for him. I have healthcare, life, and now, my friend told me about Medicare supplement insurance, I will get one for him as well. This kind of insurance will cover whatever his health card won’t cover. This will be beneficial to him if and when he gets hospitalized. Of course, I don’t want it to happen. But who really knows if it will or not. As long as we are prepared, right?
