Dreaming of a vacation

I am dreaming of going on orlando vacations. Disneyland, the beach, some relatives already living there as well as friends whom I haven’t seen in a long time…

Truth be told, I can’t afford a vacation at the moment. Possibly in three months’ time, by then, I can. Not right now. I have to save up for so many things. Tuition fee, Christmas expenditures, bills, and some other important expenses. And then after that, I can go on a vacation. I just hope by that time I really can go and work can wait even for a weekend or a few days.

Peace and quiet

Several apartments are being offered to me and my friends. Someone we know, a real estate agent, went to see us to pitch in a new complex being built near my old place of work. I am interested because the area is known to be a peaceful place. More than anything else, peace and quiet plus security are what we are looking for in a residential area. And the place where the apartments are located is known for that.

Two of my friends said yes right away. They can afford it. While the rest of us who don’t have the money to shell out just like that is looking for a financing company where we can put the apartment lease through.

Bit pricey

I want to check out other life insurance policy rates. The current one I have is good but a bit pricey for me now. I am listing down monthly and other recurring bills and I am trying to find an area where I can cut down costs. One such expense is my life insurance.

I know I can find the same, if not a better, one. With lesser premium rates. I should have taken the quotes from two other insurance companies last year but since I am comfortable with the person I am dealing with at my current insurance company, I thought I’d stay put. For next year, though, it would be cost versus other things.

Twice…

I had a really close male friend back in high school. He used to be a very principled man that’s why we became friends. He was one of the most sensible guys in school. We drifted apart because of the crowd he got into. I was not shocked anymore when I found out that he went to a drug rehab facility twice. It was peer pressure, according to a common friend.

It was sad that he became a drug dependent. Thank goodness he was able to pull through after two stints at the rehab. He’s a family man now, I learned. Hopefully, he already learned his lesson and truly changed for the better.

New Moon

Seriously, are there still people waiting for New Moon? I guess some still do. The mania died down for me when I saw a trailer where Kristen Stewart playing Bella Swan was like wailing in her sleep. Even acting sleeping is waaay too bad! My goodness!

Since Rob Pattinson won’t be appearing much in the movie, I don’t think I can drum up an interest in me. And let’s admit it, Twilight was bad. I don’t think they can salvage New Moon.

Swollen eyes

You just know that under eye cream that thick, lies swollen eyes. She actually cried her eyes out. She had a fight with her boyfriend over lack of time for him. Personally, I think he’s being selfish. But then, they’ve been together for only a year so I think he is still at that stage where he needs assurance, a clear look on where he figures in her future.

Possibly that. Or I am just being generous by giving him an alibi in my mind. He might be plain selfish for all I know.

Music Monday: Can't Fight This Feeling

It’s been a while since I last joined Music Monday. I am back and my entry is Can’t Fight This Feeling by the cast of Glee.

Glee is growing more popular each day. I am sure most of you have already seen an episode or a clip of it. Kinda like a more mature version of High School Musical, don’t you think? And better singers, of course!

Happy Monday!

Summer vacation

We go on a brief vacation every summer. This time around, for the next one, I am looking into Outer Banks vacation home rentals. A friend of mine had the pleasure of staying at one and she is raving about the place.

Personally, any place that will give us the utmost bonding experience is a good vacation location. And if it’s within my budget, the better. If there is a special occasion, I splurge more than I should. Building memories can cost you. Plus, it’s family, anyway, so the cost should not matter much. Don’t you think?

What’s your ideal summer vacation?

Overweight people

When you go to pharmacy stores, you’ll be presented with a lot of weight loss pills. Different brands, different prices. Even when you are not thinking about it, you’ll be able to see it right away because it’s given priority display in almost all pharmacies nowadays.

I guess, this only shows that there are a lot of unhealthy, overweight people already. It’s time to lose weight now and live a healthy life!

Get rid of it!

For all those looking for one, there is a natural acne treatment available for you. And when you get hold of it, make sure that you use it to get rid of the problem that can leave scars on your face. I know someone who has acne and she has inferiority complex because of it. She can’t look a person in the eye because in her mind, all a person can see is the acne on her face.

Don’t let yourself get in that kind of situation. Do something about your acne now.

It's 1 once more!

Yay!

one

When I opened this blog a few minutes ago, I noticed a green in the rank button of my toolbar. I checked and as it turned out, my rank 1 is back! Yey!

I am hoping I can make use of this before it goes back to zero again.

Thanks, G!
