Cousin Ken is asking an XBox from his dad as a Christmas gift. My cousins don’t get toys unless it’s their birthday, or they got good grades, or it’s Christmas. So when there’s an occasion, they really make it a point to ask for the very toy they like.

I salute parents who are able to instill in their kids’ minds early on the reward system. I know not all parents are for this kind of upbringing for their kids but personally, I do like the idea that kids should earn their toys. Maybe to let them know early on that it pays to work hard for something you like.
