My brother’s next item on his wish-list? A dip station! He is really into fitness right now. If you could see him, you’d think his muscles are already developed for his age. He’s already 18 years old now. He became conscious about his body when he turned 17. I guess it’s only natural especially since he has friends who are well-built for their ages.

He’s friends with so many people. He goes to the gym daily and he’s friends with the owner and instructors there. You can just imagine the amount of influence these people have on him. I am fine with this rather than him being hooked on vices.

Ahh, Kellan Lutz… I sooo love the guy! He looks so hot! Buff body, nice smile, cute eyes. Smoking hot!

He said in a magazine interview that he was offered the role of Edward Cullen before Rob Pattinson was able to grab it. He was working for another movie in Africa the time the script was sent to him so he declined and said he’d be interested in another role instead. So the role of Emmett Cullen was given to him.

He would have been a hot Edward Cullen for sure!

I ought to buy one of those entertainment centers I saw at the mall the last time I went there. Why? Because our tv’s busted! It went kaput on us two nights ago. My dad brought it to the repair shop today and they said that it might be damaged beyond repair.

Which is really sad because now that I am trying to save up, an unnecessary expense comes up. How come these things happen when you are fervently praying against it happening? I do wish the tv can still be salvaged. Otherwise, I have no choice but to buy one within the week. Can’t live without my tv!

How can I lose weight, even with best weight loss supplements, when I love watching Nigella Lawson cook? I love watching her cook because it feels like I am just watching my mom cook in the kitchen. Her cooking doesn’t have the fancy moves like other cooking show hosts have. Maybe it’s because she’s not really a chef but just a good cook. And she does it in her own kitchen.

I am also a big fan of David Rocco, Anthony Bourdain, Curtis Stone and the other chefs at Travel and Living. You bet I always get hungry whenever I watch my favorite cooking shows!

I remember that time when massacres were happening left and right. Groups of drug addicts were behind it. Because of that, home security systems became a must at home.

And then this get-up with the retro bike. The little man wants to prove something and he’s the only one who knows what it is.

My friend is having a long distance relationship with the man of her dreams. He will be coming to visit again this coming Sunday and she is naturally excited to see him again. She is scheduled to have a whole body scrub, facial, foot spa, laser treatment and most of all, bikini wax. My friend is actually going gaga with her schedule right now. She’s squeezing everything in and making sure that she’s flawless by Sunday morning. She loves the man that much!

Anyway, last night when I was talking to her, she is searching for a way to get rid of her blackheads. It was a couple of months ago since her last facial and she wants to start removing any blemishes on her face now. She found the solution. My aunt’s husband told me about the cholesterol treatment he has undergone. It was just an ordinary medical check-up but when the lab results went back, it was determined that he had high cholesterol and sugar count. What he did was he followed what his doctor asked him to do and did a research of his own to determine some other type of treatment that he could add to what his doctor said. And he found one.

He is now in top shape. I actually envy him for my dad. I want my dad to be as healthy as possible. I want him to check his cholesterol and sugar level but he is not comfortable with medical check-ups and we can’t convince him to go. After what happened to my mom, I guess it’s natural my dad feels that way.

I have a weird fixation on things. When I am fixated on something, I need to do something about it or I can’t move on. Just this past week, I was really interested with an eczema treatment. Not for me, but for someone I know. I noticed that she has it but that she’s not really taking care of herself. I am voluntarily searching for the best treatment and will tell her about it. I won’t let her neglect herself.

Anyway, I am weird that way. My family and friends know it. And they’re used to my fixations and can understand it fully. I am not fixated on bad things but rather on something that will benefit me or someone I love.

Funny how this person would keep patting her back even for the simplest things that she does. Sometimes it annoys the hell out of me. There are occasions and situations in which you can praise yourself, subtly or otherwise. I know she knows that because she’s an intelligent person. But it is a habit of hers that I know she can’t help but give in to. She’s been doing this for years!

It’s just so annoying to see her tell the world that she’s a really good mom or that she’s an intelligent person who knows so many things. Or that she is well-disciplined. And so on.

Grrrr

Jem and her partner are looking to spend a week every quarter on vacations in Orlando. Their son just loves Orlando! The theme parks, of course, is a big factor. You know how kids are. They can’t get enough of the park rides and the cotton candies and the many other attractions one can find in a theme park.

I remember those times when our parents would bring us to local carnivals. It was the highlight of a festivity should we be able to ride the boats and the bump ride and the caterpillar ride. Memories can really be created in these places. No wonder Jem and her partner would always bring their kid to the park.

A blogger-friend is currently looking for jobs in philly. He was originally located in Philadelphia but when he lost his job there, the company that accepted him immediately is based in New Orleans. In bad need of a job back then, he accepted and relocated to The Big Easy.

After a year of working there, he started missing Philly. He misses his friends, his old pad and even the city itself. It came to the point that when a really nasty rainfall hit New Orleans, he decided then and there to pass his resignation and ask friends if they knew an opening. Good thing there are PhillyJobs waiting for him.

We always hear about the best weight loss programs that work. I haven’t really tried a lot but one of them worked for me in the past. I really lost a lot of weight from that diet program but, of course, it was coupled with a regular exercise workout, too.

I would like to believe that sheer determination can really push an overweight person to lose weight. There’s just too many temptations around you. Look at me, I already lost weight but I gained it back easily because I succumb to temptation: too many good food around! I am trying to lose weight once again. Hopefully, this time around, it will stick.
