Anderson Cooper

AC360

If there’s one TV personality that I am so in love with, it’s Anderson Cooper! I love the guy! He is brilliant and has so much integrity. I love watching his CNN show AC360. I also read his blog, follow him in Twitter, and even in his Facebook account.

I am not stalking him, okay? I am just a big fan! One Facebook friend even said that she’s also a fan. Well, who wouldn’t be, right? The topics he discusses in his AC360 are relevant and have so much sense unlike others like his.

Are you also a fan?

Teased

My sister keeps on teasing about the accountant that needs a home budgeting software to track my funds on a month to month basis. Well, I admit it, I am not good in budgeting for myself. On others, I can do a good work. I think the reason behind this is the fact that I am careful with the finances of other people. But since I will be the only one suffering if I make a mistake in my own finances, I am not as careful with budgeting for my own.

Get my drift?

Look good!

I don’t mind other people using weight loss supplements and products if it will help you look good. What I just want for people to do is to consult their doctor first before embarking on a diet. I learned that for obese people, going on a diet all by yourself can hurt more than benefit you. So before taking that adipex, do read about what other people think of it, those who’ve used it, and then consult your doctor about the product and going on a diet. That’s the best thing to do.

Parties

I haven’t been as excited to receive party invitations as before. Back when I was still in my 20′s, a party invitation would mean looking forward to that date and really making an effort to look good for the party. These days, though, after hitting the magic 30, I stopped being that enthusiastic. My sister said that it’s probably just the lack of really good parties. She’s probably right.

Truth be told, I am not much a party-goer. I choose the parties I attend. Even if it’s family, I still balk at the idea of attending each and every party they throw. As I’ve said before, I am not much of a social creature. But don’t get me wrong. I do love attending parties. Parties that are only those being held for people I care about, that is.

Made for each other

made-of-honor

I really love the movie Made of Honor. Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan look so good together in that movie that it really made me fall in love with the story. If you haven’t seen it, the story is about a man and a woman who are best friends. The man is a player, dates every woman he fancies. The woman is always there for the man, waiting for him to take notice, until she goes abroad and fell in love with another man. The man finally realizes how important his best friend is to him so he does everything to win her back.

And he did!

It’s the typical dream of a woman to marry her best friend. Who doesn’t want that? It makes you want to be in that situation wherein two wonderful and good-looking men are fighting over you. I want that! Admit it, you also do.

And if my best friend looks like Patrick Dempsey, hey, I will also forget that he’s a chronic womanizer if he asks to marry me. I will surely say “I do”. Hehehe

Scared

I am scared of getting sick. That’s the truth. I hate seeing doctors for check-ups since I am scared silly to hear that I am seriously sick. It freaks me out whenever I read or hear about a certain sickness. Cancer scares me the most. I’ve seen my brother suffer from it. It was scary and very unpredictable. One day you are fine, the next day you are being rushed to the hospital. Today you are alive and kicking, tomorrow you can be cold and dead. I’ve been hearing about mesothelioma lately and whenever, it makes me think of the mesothelioma life expectancy of a person with that sickness. Will the patient last long, longer than other cancer patients? Is it the same? There are so many questions in my head about it.

I just wish the cure for cancer can be invented already. There are so many people who still wants to be able to grow old. A cure can give them that.

Cheaper ones

Karla is asking for my help in finding a car insurance cheap enough to fit into her budget. It is an easy task considering there are many cheap insurance coverages out there. But she wants one that will benefit her the most. I can understand that.

Have you noticed that these days, people are looking for something cheap but has the same benefits as the more expensive products or services? I notice it because I am one of those people. I go for the cheap products now. As long as it has the same benefits as that of the competition which is priced higher, then I go for it. In short, as long as the quality won’t suffer, then I am all for it!

Sleepy…

sleepy

I wish I can have a cup of hot latte right now. I am too darn sleepy! I only have a bottle of water in front of me. The online streaming of WRock songs is the only thing keeping me company as I work. I need something to wake me up and coffee is it.

Too bad I can’t have one. It’s really sad that I am suffering from hyperacidity. I am limiting my cup of coffee to once a day. Sometimes, once every two days. And the coffee is really diluted. Instant and diluted, my goodness! It’s that bad! But I have no choice. Either be content with the diluted coffee or suffer.

Or just try some toothpicks for the eyes :D

Meant to be

It was apparent from the onset that they are meant to be together. They both have the same faith, the same culture, the same beliefs in life. They are both free-spirited and adventurous. They are even both into Acid cigars! They are clearly compatible, no doubt about it.

But I’ve seen couples who are so alike get tired of each other. Of course, this is not the case for all types of couples like this. There are exceptions to the rule. And they might be one of the exceptions. Who knows.

Recall

The market is tough these days. If you want to be on top of the game, you need to find ways for your brand name to have a recall on your target market. One of the things businesses do is buy promotional products and stamp it with details about the company. Businesses would then give it away to consumers for free. This way, when consumers use the product, they will see the company name and slogan with the details about the product or company itself.

That’s one way to create customer recall. And eventually get new customers to patronize your product.
