We don’t know what the future holds for us. We can be really healthy and fit today, and then sick tomorrow. We just never know. Uncle Fred will buy adjustable beds for his twins. He has two boys and they are growing really fast! The last time I saw them they were still wearing diapers and then last week, I was amazed to find out they are taller than me already! And they’re just twelve-year-old kids! Since they find it hard to use their old beds, Uncle Fred thought of just buying adjustable ones for them.

Uncle Fred is a family friend. He and his family are living in the countryside for the past seven years now. We get to visit them from time to time or whenever they go to the city to buy some things for their home. Like what happened last week.

One of the things Jenny is very particular about is home ventilation. It is important that her home is “breathing”. And it should be clean air. I had the same thing done in our own home a couple of years ago. I felt that the air at home was sticky and dusty. So I had something done on our home ventilation system and it’s now clean and easy to breathe.

By the way, what made me think about ventilation was when someone in the family was sick and I thought he had pulmonary complications already. It took a sick love one to make me think about ventilation. Good thing Jenny is thinking of it right away.

Lydia bought a Hansgrohe faucet to change the one she has in her bathroom. She bought one before for her kitchen sink and since she really liked it, she thought of replacing the one in her bathroom, too.

I visited her the other day and it made me want to go get a faucet replacement as well. I just like those which functions as both a decor and a home tool.

A local actor is seen with Ferrari parts in his garage. People are talking about how good he is in saving up his earnings and investing/using it in necessities. His only luxury in life? His Ferrari! He loves his car so much. There are whispers that he even built a special room for it beside his garage. That’s why you don’t see it when he opens his garage. He uses an SUV in going to and from work. But during weekends and night outs, he uses his Ferrari.

Well, if I also have millions in my bank account, I will indulge in one of my life long dreams, too.

My little sister had fun with the grocery’s barcode scanner. There was one installed in every lane of the grocery so what she did was scan items in every lane we passed through.

Actually, my little sister’s fun aside, barcode scanners in every lane is very useful to grocery shoppers like me. I bring a calculator and my list of grocery items with me. So what I do is I check the prices and if it’s in the range of my budget. I am able to do that with the barcode scanners always ready to be used to check prices.

She already told her husband that the money he will give her for their anniversary celebration will instead go to buy gold coins. She is not okay with the grand celebration their friends are planning. She and her husband will be talking to them to stop the preparations because they will invest their money instead of spending it on a single day of celebration.

A local actor is very vocal about his desire to retire from showbiz soon. He is still young, in his 30′s. But he’s been working since he was four! So I guess you can call it burn out already.

Ken was given the option to choose from two courses. He chose the field of medicine and to go to medical assisting school. He’s been dreaming of becoming a surgeon in the years to come. But for now, he’s fine in becoming a medical assistant. It’s the beginning for him.

Knowing Ken, he will do everything in his power to achieve his goals in life. And him becoming a medical assistant after he graduates… the medical professional he’ll be assisting is lucky to have him.

Last week, I experienced my first ever photo shoot. Possibly my last. I was asked by a friend who recently opened his own photography shop to pose along with his other ‘models’. He wants all shapes and sizes of men and women so he asked his friends and his friends’ friends to join the photo shoot.

I posed on the outdoor furniture. Nothing special, just me posing like I went out of the house to sit on the outdoor sofa to read a book. Very me, I must say. So I did that and it went on and on for minutes and then it’s over! Just like that.

I enjoyed the shoot. But I have no grand dreams of becoming a model so I am happy I had the shoot and am not expecting for more.

So I just found out that the boss loves arturo fuente cigars. Right timing, I must say! I am giving the boss a gift as a token of appreciation for all the things I learned from him. And I’ve learned a lot! Especially in investments.

He’s actually a former superior in one of the companies I’ve worked for. He’s a terror in the company. But I think I gained his trust quickly so he treated me more kindly than the others working under him. We had a very good working relationship and yes, there were so many times he raised his voice to me but I treated it all as learning experiences.
