Beyonce: Pregnant or not?!?

There were speculations that Beyonce‘s pregnancy is just a gimmick for her House of Dereon clothing line. It is said that she will be creating a maternity line that’s why she is ‘pretending’ to be pregnant as a preparation for it.

But, of course, representatives of the pop diva shot down the rumors which stemmed from a guesting she did in Australian talk show Sunday Night HD wherein photos and videos appeared to show her bulging mid-section to collapse (as seen in photos above). It was suggested her bulging tummy was actually a prosthetic stomach and that a surrogate was carrying her child.

I wonder if it’s true. If it really isn’t, how come the photos and videos suggest otherwise?!?

Giuliana Rancic has breast cancer! :(

If you’ve been watching E! News, you probably know Giuliana Rancic. She co-hosts the show. She is 37 years old and married to The Apprentice first season winner Bill Rancic.

Giuliana discovered she has the early stages of breast cancer while undergoing the third round of in-vitro fertilization. Naturally, the E! News host is devastated and, according to husband, breaks down when she hears the word cancer.

She will undergo surgery and a round of radiation therapy to cure and prevent the cancer from spreading.

How fast is that?!?

Blog dress up

I am thinking of changing this blog’s theme. I was actually very satisfied with the previous one but the images on that one got distorted so I had to discard it.

But now I am thinking that maybe I can create my own header and some other images needed there and use the template again. I like that better than the one I have on now.

Bringing the whole family

Maybe it’s due to the fact that my parents have always instilled in us the value of family… maybe I am just more comfortable being with my family especially on an out-of-town trip. I love bringing the whole family on trips. I do think that it doubles my happiness being able to travel and at the same time being able to show my family the places I want to explore.

When I heard that our neighbor is paying for an rv repair, I knew right away that their whole family will be going out of town again. They love traveling together. I love seeing them pack their bags and leave for the weekend. Both parents are working so the weekend out of town trips serve as a bonding activity for them.

Those neighbors of mine remind me of my own family. Traveling together is fun!

Jason Mraz is coming to Manila!!! :)

OMG!

Jason Mraz is coming for a concert at the end of this month! He will be coming with Toca Rivera and will perform live at the Big Dome!

I wish I have enough money to shell out for a VIP ticket! I would love to see him perform live!

Argh! So frustrating to hear of artists you love performing in your country and you don’t have enough to shell out for a ticket…

You know you can’t help but admire this teen star who is never ashamed to tell anyone who asks that she came from humble beginnings. She was dirt poor when she was a little a girl and was just lucky enough that her father’s invention was bought by a foreign firm and he made enough money to get them into one of those park model trailers. Then the break to star in a TV ad came to her when she was 12 and the rest, as they say, is history.

I do think that it is best to never forget where we came from. Even if we become larger than life in terms of financial and social status, our humble beginnings will be the inspiration to continually do better so as to enjoy life even more.

Maricel Soriano’s back!

So I read in a local entertainment site that Maricel Soriano is back. She will be starring in a Regal Films movie entitled Yesterday Today and Tomorrow with Jericho Rosales. A story conference was held yesterday at the Imperial Palace Suites.

I wonder if Ms. Soriano is now ready to answer the accusations of physical abuse lodged against her by her two helpers a few months ago. Did she settle the case already or is she going to play chase with the media about it?

Maricel is one of the few local actresses that I like. I actually liked her even more when I heard how she turned all religious and lessened the katarayan. But then reports surfaced of how she became abusive of her helpers and how she’s turned allegedly a drug dependent (with that rumor of being confined in the basement of Makati Medical Center before the news of helper abuse surfaced). Whatever happened to her?!?

Putting up a dental clinic

This friend of mine from high school wants to put up a dental clinic at a rental property next door to where he lives. He can’t afford the cost of the dental equipment, though, so he is looking for dental equipment financing so he can start practicing his profession in his very own clinic. It’s been a life-long dream of his and I do know for a fact that he’s been driven to become a dentist because he idolizes one of his maternal uncles who is a dentist himself.

I am wishing him all the luck in the world. He is a good dentist. I know because I’m one of his regular clients. He needs a clinic of his own so he can practice whenever a client looks for him, unlike in the clinic where he practices now where he is allotted four hours in a day only.
