Top celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is facing a tough time right now. England’s health ministry is not happy and optimistic about his efforts to change the eating habits of his fellowmen. England’s new health minister, Andrew Lansley, says “lecturing” people on how they should live doesn’t work unless individuals are willing to change their behavior.

We all know about Jamie’s efforts in changing the eating habits of schoolkids in the UK and the United States. He even spearheaded Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution together with Ryan Seacrest. It is gaining momentum as celebrities are openly backing him up in this endeavor. In fact, even Oprah herself is backing up this campaign.

But according to England’s health minister, Jamie’s efforts are actually pushing kids to resort to alternative ways to get the food they want. They shop outside the schools and even make unhealthier choices. Instead of eating in school (the healthy food Jamie is insisting on), more and more kids are not eating in school anymore.

I do think that Jamie’s Food Revolution campaign is indeed ambitious. It’s really hard to change bad eating habits of people anywhere in the world. But if it’s not him, who would start the change? Health minister Lansley should even thank Jamie for caring. What’s he doing to save his fellow Englishmen from a coronary early in life? It is an ambitious campaign because it will have a big impact in every one’s lives. We need more Jamie Oliver in the world if we really want change to happen. Schools should step up their efforts in helping the kids make healthy choices in the food they eat. Lansley shouldn’t blame Jamie for the kids who stop eating in school but should even help Jamie come up with a solution to this problem that came up.

To you health minister Lansley, instead of bashing Jamie Oliver for his good intentions, why not back him up or better yet, come up with your own plan for a healthy change?!?

He said that he’s putting it out there that he wants to date. She said that they are just friends. But OK Magazine is reporting that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are shacking up in a one-bedroom house somewhere in LA. That’s according to PerezHilton.com, which I regularly read for the juiciest Hollywood gossip.

Well, they look like they have so much in common. The never-ending rumors of being unhygienic. The drab look. The aversion to fame. And the lack of real acting abilities.

So Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kissed in last night’s MTV Movie Awards where they won the Best Kiss award… so what?!? I so don’t like that KStew! She looks constipated to me all the time! I really wish Rob would just find someone else worthy of his beauty.

Now this is worth talking about…

I can stare at the man for hours on end and I won’t get tired of him. He is that good-looking! Charming and sexy and that killer smile…

No doubt about it, George Clooney is one of the A-list stars of Hollywood right now. He acts, directs, produces. He also helps out (remember the Haiti telethon?)! He does every thing and people love him for it. He also is fighting for Darfur.

I do wish he’ll make another Ocean’s movie. I love him in that. Not to mention there are other hotties in that movie. Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Andy Garcia… yay!

I don’t know if you’ve heard about this already… hot, nude yoga! It is said to be a form of sensualized tantric yoga practiced nude. Yeah right!

I read that it is fast becoming popular in the US these days. It is targeted mostly for the gays. There are also male and female fans. Heterosexual ones. According to the article I read, for fans, the nudity aids in deepening their yoga practice while building a close — and emphatically nonsexual — community. I have my hesitations in believing this. For one, admit it or not, when someone is nude in front of you, you tend to stare. You get distracted and stare at the body of the person naked in front of you. All of a sudden, the yoga practice is not focused on fitness anymore but more on the beauty of the body of the persons around you. You can deny all you want but unless you are a nudist and have been practicing for years, you can’t help yourself but stare at other naked persons around.

Plus, men especially gays are highly sexual in nature. Instead of cleansing the mind and focusing their energy on yoga itself, I am sure they will concentrate more on the male and female anatomy of the ones who caught their eyes.

Again, you can deny all you want. Maybe, there’s one or two from the nude yoga movement who are actually in for the physical fitness. But I doubt if every one of the recruits are of the same agenda.

Can you see the bones sticking out her skin? My goodness! The lady needs to eat some more! No wonder there were rumors before of anorexia afflicting her. But she brushed it off saying that she was born that way. Thin and skinny are two different things.

Seriously, are there still people waiting for New Moon? I guess some still do. The mania died down for me when I saw a trailer where Kristen Stewart playing Bella Swan was like wailing in her sleep. Even acting sleeping is waaay too bad! My goodness!

Since Rob Pattinson won’t be appearing much in the movie, I don’t think I can drum up an interest in me. And let’s admit it, Twilight was bad. I don’t think they can salvage New Moon.

The Jonas Brothers. I love these brothers! They represent clean-living and God-fearing celebrities who in spite of their fame and fortune remain true to themselves. There are rumors being circulated against Kevin, Joe and Nick by Trace Cyrus, Miley’s brother, that the trio are actually not who we think they are. Hmm…

In my opinion, regardless of what they do behind closed doors is up to them. That’s private already. But the mere fact that they are trying hard to be good role models for the millions of underage fans they have is a feat in itself. And something a Cyrus won’t give a damn about doing!

I don’t know if you have noticed this as well… but don’t you just feel she’s always asking for something from the guys? Sex, perhaps?!? She always looks like she’s ready to do gratify someone or something. Her mouth is always slightly open. This might be alluring to the guys. But it is annoying to the people who are not always thinking of THAT!

I wonder if that’s what she really wants to portray. It might be. She positively breathes it.

I’ve seen the trailer of New Moon. And a couple of clips from it. If that’s the best they can show us, I don’t think the movie will hold more promise of a better script and even better acting from the whole cast. Did you see the scene in the woods where Edward said goodbye to Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart)? Oh my! She still can’t act!

But because I have a huge crush on R-Patz, I will still probably watch the movie, just to feast my eyes on that eye candy! Hehehe

This is the first time I’ve seen Jamie Oliver’s kids. They look so adorable! I am a big fan of Jamie’s cooking shows. I think I’ve seen glimpses of the kids in one of his shows but I’m not sure. I’ve seen his wife in his Great Italian Escape.

Anyway, such a beautiful family. I hope that Jamie does not have something in his closet like Gordon Ramsay who was recently confirmed to have a mistress.
