Family trips

Who wants to go book an Outer Banks vacation rental now? I do! It would be a cool summer trip for sure. I want to bring the family together this summer for some fun under the sun. Not now, though. Probably after the school year ends.

Right now, I am working my butt off to save for the summer outing. I am making this an annual thing for the family. When we were kids, we always stayed at home during summer vacation because we couldn’t afford to go on trips. But now that we can afford it already, with four of us working, we are making sure to go on trips when we can.

Beauty ritual

My girl friends are already using anti aging face face creams. I guess it’s our age. We’re already off the calendar and they feel like they are aging so fast. That’s why they are using the creams already.

In my case, much as I would love to use a facial cream, I am not really that type of person. I might use it in the beginning and then would stop after a few days. It’s not me. I am not the beauty ritual kind of girl. But I might have to force myself to do so a few years from now. We’ll see.

Out of school

One of my cousins, a distant one, stopped going to school. She’s already a sophomore in high school. She was being teased because she has a terrible acne. It is sad that her life is being derailed just because of a problem as simple as acne. I told her mom to check out the best acne products in the market. Bring her to consult a dermatologist and then start solving her problem.

People can be mean to someone who’s not pretty. I’ve seen this happen time and again. But to those being bullied or teased, life goes on. Do not stop living your life because others can’t appreciate you. It would be your loss if you depend your life on others.

Receding hairlines

I noticed that most men in the family don’t need the best hair loss treatments in the market yet. They still have a full crown of hair, even both of my grandfathers. But some of our neighbors need it already. Some are still young. You can see their receding hairlines even when they are using gels to make the remaining hair seem full.

Two local celebrities who are vocal about undergoing hairloss treatments are Rico J. Puno and Mark Gil. Rico J’s is so much better than Mark’s. But both got back their crowning glory because of the treatments.

Loungewear and summer

My friend just bought a terry romper to be used in their company outing. It is summer here in the country right now and it’s the perfect time to wear those cute loungewear. If you have one, use it now!

I just asked my aunt when we will go swimming and she told me that it will be this coming Friday. Yes! I can’t wait to be at the beach. I want to walk under the sun on the sand and dive into the cool water when the heat gets unbearable.

Bubbly person

There’s an acne solution for those who need it. Deedee has acne. She’s been battling it since her teenage years. I know that because of it, she was bullied in her younger days. But because she is naturally a bubbly person, you won’t see any trace of sadness whenever she tells the story to family and friends.

The truth is that Deedee is miserable. She’s hiding behind that bubbly persona an inferiority complex. She feels that she is missing out on a lot of things because of her acne. She’s not utilizing the maximum use of dating to find the right man she wants to settle down with because men are seeing the acne before anything else.

She’s now actively seeking a solution to her acne problems. I do hope she finds the right one for her. She deserves a clean, clear face like her sisters and female cousins.

Moving to another city

The family will be moving to another city next month. They will be moving into their new home that they bought and had built within two years. Currently, the head of the family is getting moving quotes so they know to whom they will trust the important move of their lives.

I actually envy them. It’s been years that we’re planning our own move but something always comes up that prevents us from leaving the house we’re currently living in. Oh well, some other time for us. Or maybe we’re meant to live in the same house until we die. I do hope not.

Kenna’s quirks

Cousin Kenna is looking for an epson receipt printer for her register. She uses the special kind when printing copies of the receipts. She gives one copy to the tax people and another copy to the auditor. My cousin runs a very organized accounting department and she doesn’t want anything to mess with her system.

I was once like her when I was still in the corporate world. Very organized. I didn’t want anybody changing my system or messing with it. Because for me, it works just fine. I can totally understand the quirks Kenna has when it comes to her accounting department.
