Blindingly bright!

When she smiles, you literally have to shield your eyes from the blindingly bright shine of her teeth. I do believe that it was overworked, the teeth whitening done on her. Her teeth look fake now. White but fake.

She needs a charlotte cosmetic dentist who will really give her a legitimate service. Not an overworked version of cosmetic dental services. Good thing it can be toned down, the sheen of the whiteness of her teeth.

Why not gold instead?

I’m sure you’ve heard of investments gone bad. Each and every one of us is prone to bad investments. You and I know that. I mean I am sure you remember Hollywood stars being fooled into believing a person to whom they entrusted millions of hard earned money. I say, go and buy gold bars instead! With gold, you are assured that your wealth is preserved over time. Just like what the royals did back in the old ages.

If you are interested in acquiring gold bars, just go to the USGoldBureau.com and go deal with their hard assets professionals. You are assured that your acquisition is legitimate.

Shacking up

Kristen Stewart

Rob Pattinson

He said that he’s putting it out there that he wants to date. She said that they are just friends. But OK Magazine is reporting that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are shacking up in a one-bedroom house somewhere in LA. That’s according to PerezHilton.com, which I regularly read for the juiciest Hollywood gossip.

Well, they look like they have so much in common. The never-ending rumors of being unhygienic. The drab look. The aversion to fame. And the lack of real acting abilities.

Ciara Sotto’s husband

Ciara Sotto's husband

I was browsing PEP.ph when I saw the wedding photos of Ciara Sotto. She is now an Oconer. Her husband is said to be Jojo Oconer, an executive of TAPE, Inc. When I saw the photo of her husband, well, I just knew right away that he is way older than her. He looks mature already. That might be a plus considering according to Ciara’s mom, Helen Gamboa, she was the baby of the family.

Someone mature might be best for someone in her ’20s and still considered a baby by her family.

Collapsed!

Our neighbor’s roof collapsed! Actually it’s part of a roof only but since the roof support was not that strong anymore, eaten by termites over time, the whole roof caved in. She went out of her house unharmed, shaken by what happened. Good thing that it caved onto the second floor of the house and there wasn’t anybody there at the time.

Because of what happened, she suddenly remembered that her life insurance expired a couple of months ago. It’s time to get a new one to replaced the expired one. Accidents happen when you least expect it so it’s better to be somehow ready when it happens.

Separation pay

Lydia is checking out the best franchise to own. She got her separation pay from the last company she worked for. That company closed, affected by the recession, and all their employees were given a separation pay. Lydia got hers just a month ago.

And to be sure that her money will go a long way, she will invest it in a business. She wants to get something out of her money month after month. I think it’s a very good plan.

An option

Tippy is an incoming senior. As early as now, she is narrowing down her college degree choices to three. Of the three, she will choose the one that will give her the best option in the future. An option to live a better life. She is going to research college degrees. She found a site called CollegeDegreesToday.com that gave her a reference point, a guide if you must, for finding the best college degree as well as the school offering it.

The choice of school can either be on campus or an online university. It’s all up to her. Are you interested in finding the college degree for you, too? Go to the site now and use their “Find Your Degree” feature.

Wedding on a budget

My friend’s wedding is on a budget. They have long been wanting to settle down and start a family of their own but since they are average wage earners, they really don’t have much when it comes to the finance department of their lives. Thank goodness for well-meaning friends, they were able to gather enough funds to add to their own funds and now the wedding is happening real soon!

Instead of buying, they are just going to rent out tuxedos for the groom and the groom’s men. The wedding gown was bought at a discounted price. The wedding favors are coming from a principal sponsor. Another sponsor is going to answer half of the catering expenses. You can really say that every one close to my friend and her groom are doing everything to make the wedding happen.

Backups

Backing up is very important. You can sleep peacefully if you know you have something to use even when your laptop or desktop crashes. You can either buy an external hard drive or burn files to DVDs. Or you can use an online backup service to help you save your important files.

I once suffered because of not backing up. Imagine losing so many files including photos that I haven’t had printed yet. I was so upset when it happened that after that I immediately bought an external hard drive to use for backups. Now I do it weekly to be sure.

Waiting list

We checked out the log furniture being sold in the furniture shop nearby. The salesperson said that they ordered it online and that any purchases will have to wait for a delivery date. They have quite a long waiting list of people who ordered the log furniture. It was really elegant looking and would fit even those that are not log houses.

I am actually thinking of being put on the waiting list. I am thinking of putting the log furniture at our veranda. It will go well with what my dad did to it.

Misunderstanding

Our neighbor ordered stainless steel drums that were delivered yesterday. It was so noisy that most of our other neighbors went out of their houses to check on what’s happening. We all didn’t know that he has a business until the delivery yesterday. He apologized profusely for the hassle and he said that it won’t happen again. There was just a misunderstanding between him and the company where he bought the drums.

At least we got to know him a little bit better yesterday.

City girl

I am a city girl. I grew up in the city. I am used to the noise and fast pace of living in one. I love how metal buildings and residential houses stand so close to each other. I love to see tall buildings from my bedroom window. You can say that vertical structures are part of my life.

I know at some point I will have to live elsewhere. In fact, I am already checking out a place outside the city. Not only for me but for my family, too. Naturally, the city’s becoming crowded and very tempting for an unhealthy lifestyle, which you can’t have when you are growing old.

I do think though that I will forever be a city girl. I just love living in the city even with the smog around!

Hates being phony!

If anything, I hate being phony. I mean there are instances wherein I need to be polite and such. But for me, that’s being phony when you are being polite to someone you actually want to push down a cliff!

It isn’t a problem in my case really. My face is transparent. It shows my emotions. When I was a kid, every Christmas, my mom’s aunt would give us gifts. I was always afraid to open it in front of them because I knew if I didn’t like the gift, it would show in my reaction. And it did. One time, I got a towel. Imagine a 10-year-old kid getting a towel for Christmas. What would your reaction be? I was disappointed I wanted to cry! I wanted something appropriate for my age. A stationery set would have made me happy. Or a cute notebook will do. They saw me getting upset over the towel that since then I dreaded opening gifts in front of the giver.

Those situations to me called for being polite but in my mind I was being phony. So sad.

Gifts for my goldchildren

I am buying toys for three of my godchildren who are celebrating their birthdays within the month. Instead of buying it a day or two before the birthday celebration, it is my habit to buy gifts at the beginning of the month and have it gift-wrapped right away so I just have to pick it up come the day of the party.

The three godchildren are extra special to me because they are the kids of my friends closest to me.

Always ready

Sonia always has a health item ready for when her mom needs it. Like a pulse oximeter. She also has a portable blood pressure and blood sugar monitors. Always ready for when they would need it.

They once had a scare while traveling. They forgot to bring with them her mom’s medicines. Good thing they were able to find the one they need in the country they were in. It was an emergency that made them become aware of the need to be always ready.
