It was the first time Sandra Bullock was nominated for a Best Actress in Oscars. It was for her role in The Blind Side. And what do you know! She won!

She bested Hollywood greats Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren as well as Carey Mulligan and Gabourey Sidibe. Wow! And she was so gracious in her acceptance speech! Congrats to her! I was teary-eyed when I watched it

I want to watch The Blind Side by Sandra Bullock. The only problem I have is that most movie houses in the Metro already stopped showing it. The rule here is that movies run for two weeks. If it’s a really big movie, it is normally extended. Like Avatar. But most end after the end of its second week run.

I wish I knew it was already showing locally. I found out about it on its second week. When I checked out the movie today, it is limited to the late afternoon slot. Since I wanted to go home before the time allotted to the movie, I was not able to see it. Maybe I’ll just wait for the DVD to be released?
